Four Homme...

Four decades after Yves Saint Laurent formulated his first fragrance, the house has re-bottled the legendary designers' signature scents.

Forty years: an age that will cause any man to ponder, and an eternity for a fragrance. In our modern, saturated market, a scent that is still around after five years is rightly hailed a success. But certain houses create products with more longevity: Yves Saint Laurent, a prime example, had a solid back catalogue of fragrances that set trends and defined eras.1095191381-yvessaintlaurent_logo.jpg

The story of its men's scent began in 1971 whenYves was looking for a fragrance of his own to wear. He created Pour Homme and declared, "This is my eau de toilette, but today it can be yours." The brand's luxury output may have become less personal over time, but the level of success has never wavered. And now, for the first time, La Collection Yves Saint Laurent brings together four of the very best from over the years: Pour Homme, Jazz, M7 Oud Absolu and Rive Gauche Pour Homme.

How did it select just four from its rich archive? The house of Yves Saint Laurent told us: "We wanted to preserve the independent legacy of Kouros and Opium Pour Homme, which meant retaining their original design, whereas this collection of powerful, signature scents epitomises the history of Yves Saint Laurent as a whole".

Whether you'll revisit old memories or discover each scent anew, La Collection Yves Saint Laurent experience is similar to listening to old hits from your favourite artist: timeless, evocative and always a pleasure.
