Apple iPad 3

The dust has hardly settled on Apples iPad 2, and yet already rumours are beginning to circulate regarding the iPad 3. Reported to have a release date of late 2011 (just in time for Christmas), the iPad 3 could set the trend of Apple bringing out a new model every 6 months. Whilst eager fans face the typical secrecy from Apple itself, many are speculating that the new design will boast a screen resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels, which would be over 6 times the amount in the screens of the iPad 2, putting it level with the ‘retina display’ of the iPhone. Also rumoured is a brand new dual core processor, Apples A6, however if the new model is released in early 2012 bloggers are whispering that there could even be a chance of a quad core processor.
